How to summarise?

Jennifer (aka Margeaux, Marge, Jenny) Hannah (aka Hannalujah) Butler (aka McVeigh) was born in North Tees Hospital on 12 October 1983.

She was a quirky and deeply interesting person, without ever seeking attention. And she was really funny. She cared deeply for other people, without always letting them know. She was quiet and thoughtful.

She was a really good cook, understanding what flavours go together and constantly experimenting with new combinations. She understood the importance of not hurrying too much.

She loved all animals, waifs, strays and underdogs. She liked to share. She loved post-modern (and classic) literature, indie-rock music, dark comedy and avant-garde film. She liked her music LOUD, preferring to surround herself in sound whenever she was listening.

She died way too soon in August of 2014.
